Ty, Fraser, and Harris Autographs

In 1993, Ty Warner introduced the first 12 pieces in "The Attic Treasures Collection."  Included in the "Original 12" were three pieces designed by Ruth Fraser (Fraser, Henry Gold, and Reggie) and six pieces designed by Linda Harris (Clifford, Gilbert Gold, Tiny Tim, Tyler, Woolie Gold and Woolie Brown.)  Shortly thereafter, Ty Warner contracted Ruth Fraser's daughter Nola Hart to his team.  The Attic Treasures masterpieces designed by these Canadian bear artists became the darlings of "The Attic Treasures Collection."

On June 27, 1993, Ty Warner was the guest of honor at the opening of the Fraser's and Hart's Teddy Bear Garden in Toronto, Canada. Woolie Golds, Dexters, Tylers, Tiny Tims, Gilbert Golds, Frasers, Cliffords, and Reggies filled baskets in the rooms. Few knew at the time this mild spoken gentleman would soon become the most famous and wealthiest plush maker in the world. To the delight of a few guests, not only were they able to obtain the autographs of the designers, but a few from Ty Warner as well.

Sal's Attic is proud to announce that we have added to our collection three of these rare autographed pieces.  Clifford signed by Ty Warner and Linda Harris; Henry Gold signed by Ty Warner and Ruth Fraser; and Tiny Tim signed by Ty Warner and Linda Harris.  All three come with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ruth Fraser.

Ty Inc., has only recognized four designers of "The Attic Treasures Collection"  other than Ty Warner.  Ruth Fraser, Nola Hart, Linda Harris and Anne Nickels.  For a complete list of designers and their designs click here.
